So I have spent a while searching forums answering questions from new husky owners, This is informative for me as many breeders are registered and answer any questions I have. Some people have asked if they are buying several Huskies, what sexes would be recommended to mix, as 2 females may conflict for dominance (as this is always the case with female dogs), whereas 2 males are likely to be the same. We decided on getting 1 female and 1 male as we do hope to breed them in the future. As Husky lovers I would love to give Willow a litter and provide caring and loving homes with some brilliant kc reg puppies who are just as beautiful as the two I have.
I would recommend to everyone, If you have a pup (male or female) to test your current dog with the potential pups/dogs before purchase as you may fall into something you or your pup regret. Luckily for us Willow and Teeko hit it off when they laid eyes on each other, and to this day they get along so well!
They give each other kisses and snuggle to sleep together. Play Tug of war with each other and Willow protects Teeko when she fears another dog may harm him. I have to say this is great to see as they have brought out each others characters, it is amazing to watch as they grow huge so quickly and mature so well.

Husky Football
Huskies are great when it comes to Football, as we discovered with Willow. She loves playing with toys and when given a squeaky toy she howls and talks to the ball for squeaking at her. They are entertaining animals and it puts a right smile on your face when you watch your huge puppy asleep on the sofa, before falling off. It may sound quite cruel, however she never gets hurt (yes this happens a lot with Willow, she still thinks she is tiny), and watching Teeko creep into a room and watch him quickly exit with things in his mouth ready to chew (For example, Toilet Roll Holders, Shoes, Underwear, a Pizza Box ... more extreme every day)
House Training Huskies
Amongst many things, House training huskies is incredibly difficult. We have had scenarios where a 5am wake-up call from Willow howling the house down and Teeko howling like a chicken is very frequent.
Teeko is especially difficult to train as males are very boisterous and compared to Willow he does exactly what he wants to do, when he wants to do it. Huskies have a tendency to keep to themselves and stay out of the way until it is feeding time or they get the HUGE energy bursts they tend to get... all the time!
Teeko is now mostly house-trained, but as they are still young pups they do still require newspaper put down to ensure any mess they make can be cleaned up without too much hassle (we have been through some awful moments when changing foods and testing different kinds of foods - you have to find the PERFECT food for your huskies, as their stomachs are highly sensitive), however Teeko and Willow picked up house training on newspaper very quickly. This does not mean every husky will adapt as quickly, however I'd recommend you give it a go!!!

Chewing, Digging, Destroying
You may not be aware, but Siberian Huskies can be either (or if you are really unlucky, all) Chewers, Diggers and destroyers of anything in their path.
After being used to Willow and her great behaviour (House training aside), Teeko's behaviour was hard to get used to.
As long as you have the love, and the time to train and give affection to your pup/s, you will find it does get a little easier as time passes, however imagine having toddling children walking and running around, wanting to eat everything and when they want your attention you can expect them to howl and talk your ears off!
We've got holes covering the grass and soiled section of our garden, for some reason they absolutely LOVE chewing underwear and like any other puppies they have a habit of chewing shoes.

Welcome to Hyper Huskies
I'd like to Introduce Willow, my female 7 month old pedigree Siberian Husky. She is our first pup and she is so placid and calm she is brilliant with kids and any other dog she comes across.
We also come across our beautiful 4 month old male Pedigree Agouti Siberian Husky, Teeko. He is so lovely, the most hyperactive puppy I have ever come across. He is a full pedigree Sibierian, however his type of colouring "Agouti", makes his appearance more wolf-like and he gets darker by the day.
